In short
- This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics and loads no scripts, fonts or content from third-party servers.
- Your light/dark theme choice is stored only in your browser (localStorage) and never transmitted.
- When the page is requested, the hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data.
Hosting (Cloudflare Pages)
The website is served by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (in the EU: Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Rosental 7, 80331 Munich). When you visit, Cloudflare processes connection data such as IP address, time, requested address, browser identifier and transferred data volume to deliver the page and protect it against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, fast operation). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; standard contractual clauses apply in addition. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Downloads and links to GitHub
The download buttons lead directly to GitHub (GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), where the app files are hosted, and to the source code at https://github.com/SGNemo/schweizer-taschenmesser. GitHub processes your data only once you click; see GitHub’s privacy statement.
Support via Ko-fi
The “Support on Ko-fi” link leads to Ko-fi (Ko-fi Labs Ltd, United Kingdom), an external provider. This website itself processes no payment or contact data. What Ko-fi processes is described in Ko-fi’s privacy policy. After a contribution you receive the supporter code at the e-mail address given to Ko-fi; a small service run by the operator (a Cloudflare Worker) processes Ko-fi's notification, sends the e-mail and stores no payment data, names or addresses in clear text (hashed check values only, for 400 days).
The Nemo app
The app stores its data only on your device. It has no account and no service run by the operator; optional sync works only through a server you run yourself. Updates are downloaded from GitHub. This policy covers the website only.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent one is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany,www.lda.bayern.de.
What usually belongs here in Germany
For orientation, not legal advice: name and contact of the controller, processing by the hosting provider (server logs, legal basis, third-country transfer), every external service (here only via links: GitHub, Ko-fi), whether cookies or tracking are used, data subject rights and the supervisory authority.
